Alabama has taken a 27-0 lead over Colorado in the 2nd quarter, and I'm getting several text messages from people asking, "Who is this team?". My reply was, "The team we COULD have had". Its also the team we may see next year. No, I'm not saying this team will go 13-0 and blow everybody out, but this offense will return a TON, and I think the defense can be pretty salty, too.

Its amazing how one mistake can turn things so quickly. The interception by John Parker Wilson gave Colorado new life. It's also better to be lucky than good. Colorado almost gave momentum (and the ball) back to Bama, but the punt that bounced off the Buffs returner went straight out of bounds, and allowed CU to maintain possesion and ultimately score their second TD.

Here is the beauty of radio:
It's halftime, and Tom Roberts is interviewing me by telephone on the CTSN broadcast, about the Crimson Tide basketball team. He's in Shreveport, down on the field, with the Million Dollar Band blaring away. I'm at home, standing in a closet, because that is the most sound proof room in my home! Gotta love it.

Back to my earlier comment about it being better to be lucky than good.....how bout that ricochet field goal that just made it 27-17? Geez!
